Klik-Eat has raised funding from Yume no Machi Suzou Iinkai

PT Klik Eat Indonesia (www.klik-eat.com), a website that enables customers to order food online for delivery, has received investment from YUME NO MACHI SOUZOU IINKAI CO.,LTD (yumenomachi.co.jp). With more than 11,200 restaurants listed, Yume no Machi’s service, Demae-can (demae-can.com) is the biggest online food ordering service in Japan. YUME NO MACHI SOUZOU IINKAI CO.,LTD is also a publicly listed company in JASDAQ

Yume no Machi believes that Indonesia, as the 4th most populous country in the world and home of more than 240 million people, holds remarkable potential in the online food ordering industry. Steady improvement in economic development, consumer buying power and internet access, makes Indonesia a very attractive market in the Southeast Asia region.

As part of this investment, Rie Nakamura (President of Yume no Machi) and Masateru Kaneko (Financial Accounting Manager of Yume no Machi) will join PT Klik Eat Indonesia’s board of directors. Moving forward, co-founders Michael Saputra, Andrew Pangestan and Willy Haryanto will resume full operational responsibilities, aiming to be the online food ordering service leader in Indonesia.
