TelkomCloud for SME Provides Customized Service Solution

This year’s cloud service competition seems more rigorous with the existence of various foreign services and sprouting local services. To be the leader, excellent service is key to differentiate. TelkomCloud, a cloud computing service owned by the biggest state-owned business entity, PT Telkom, is trying to provide a robust complete solution compared to its competitors in this area.

TelkomCloud divides its cloud service into two major consumer categories, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME) and Enterprise. For SME, TelkomCloud provides a customized service solution in the form of SaaS (Software as a Service) that is specifically dedicated for various fields of business. TelkomCloud provides e-Bengkel, e-Kelurahan, e-Travel, e-Akademik, e-Hotel and e-Sekolah softwares. In addition, it also sets up M-Force that can be used to optimized sales force activities in the field.

Technology wise, the solution offered by TelkomCloud makes it easier for SME that is technology illiterate to enhance its presence in the online world. The main focus is how well the customizatian of these products can answer to the consumer’s needs. Other than that, the reliability of TelkomCloud is important because large service such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) can be down and cause chaos to its service.

To be sure, SME is currently having an alternative to try this cloud computing technology, including its supporting application. In May, XL Axiata will also entering the market by joining hands with several partners.
