Multiply Announces Free Delivery Across Indonesia

Multiply recently announced their new e-commerce service that is provided on Multiply. com. This program is in a form of free delivery cost for all over Indonesia in partnership with JNE service.

This is another program of Multiply to support their e-commerce transaction process, or popular as social commerce, on their service since Multiply has to keep their focus on the new platform launched for 6 months.

The free delivery cost program is in partnership with JNE service and only available on online shops that used Multiply Commerce or as what their site call as “Beli Sekarang (Buy Now)” model.

For merchants with “Buy Now” model, customers can enjoy the free delivery cost maximum IDR 100.000 with minimum transaction of item(s) worth IDR. 100.000 or more. Besides only available for merchants with integrated platform commerce, the regular merchants themselves can also use JNE service as delivery agent. E-commerce and Social commerce development in Indonesia is still facing many problems. However, the growth shows interesting number at least if it is compared to the number of internet penetration rate.

Talking about Multiply itself, e-commerce facilities and social commerce approach has been a chosen by Multiply as their strategy for the future although it is still considered supporting their existing blogging platform. I think, I still see some “dualism” has yet been smoothly integrated; between blogging service in which users are still reluctant to do transactions with; but also the growth of merchants who uses Multiply as medium for their business.
