KlikMusik has Collection of 60 Thousands of Songs Ready to be Legally Downloaded

The music industry is undeniably one of the most popular industry in the world, including Indonesia.. Now, music can be enjoyed through our own small and portable gadgets, like smartphone. But what if the music we own is very limited? Responding to this question, KlikMusik provides a solution by allowing the users to download any song from any genre, local or international, legally.

By having some major and independent labels from Indonesia and abroad as partners, KlikMusik has now admitted that they provide 60.000 songs for their users. KlikMusik claims that the service triggers the creativity of music industry and supports the anti-piracy movement by influencing the music lovers, especially in Indonesia, to buy the official and original albums from their favorite singers.

The KlikMusik application itself is a freeware and available in three platforms for smartphone, which are Android, Blackberry, and Nokia X. Unfortunately, there is no further information for the other platforms. Generally, KlikMusik offers the search and download features which allow the users to enjoy thousands of high quality songs directly from their mobile gadgets. To buy songs or albums, the users only have to use vouchers which they can buy from one of KlikMusik’s voucher vendor partners, such as Indomog, Kreon, Gudang Voucher, GameOn Voucher, and IndoBooks Voucher.

To enjoy the services, the users can sign themselves in by their using e-mail address, or they can also use Facebook, Twitter, and Google. After successfully signed in, the users can search for their favorite songs and albums, listen to the preview of the songs, download the songs, and play them directly from their gadgets. The users can also assess the song or album by giving ‘like’ or ‘dislike’ mark to the songs or albums. For some cases, KlikMusik can even display the music video of certain songs. The users can also share their favorite songs and albums via social media, such as Facebook and Twitter.

If the users need the latest music reference, KlikMusik also provides the Top Chart feature which ranks the songs based on their popularity. Not only that, the users can also read the latest news and information about the Indonesian and international music industry.

In Indonesia, KlikMusik itself competes strictly with local applications which provide similar services, such as Melon and even Apple iTunes. By looking at the competition, it is positive that KlikMusik needs to increase its credibility to be able to compete with those big names.

However, it seems that the music downloading services will be easily beaten by applications which provide music streaming services, be it from local developer such as Ohdio or foreign developer such as Deezer, Guvera, and Rdio, in the near future. If so, how long will KlikMusik survive?
