PT Beabeo, the holding company behind projects such as Tasterous, is looking to hire a Senior iOS Application developer to work on the next generation Tasterous for Apple iOS platform. This is a permanent position at our office in the Senayan district, Jakarta, Indonesia.

The re-imbursement for this position starts at 8 million rupiah and negotiable depending on skills and qualification. As the successful candidate, you will be working with the Tasterous iOS team to build cutting edge applications for Apple’s lineup of iOS devices. The division is growing rapidly and so this is an ideal time to join early.

Responsibilities:

• Primary developer of the company’s iOS, iPhone, iPad, iPod, Apple TV applications.
• Involved at all stages of application development, from UI design to final testing
• Write Objective-C wrappers that interact with several proprietary RESTful APIs
• Work on an ongoing basis with graphic and UI designers
• Consistently write performance-minded, highly-readable code using OO best practices
• Use SVN in a group development environment

Requirements:

• Expert-level knowledge of Objective-C and Xcode
• Experience with iOS SDK
• Exposure to integrating RESTful APIs and web services with Objective-C applications
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented and MVC patterns and best practices
• Ability to write intermediate SQL, with experience using SQLite
• Enthusiasm for solving interesting problems
• Excellent communication skills
• Passion for Web 2.0 and mobile applications

Preferred:

• Experience in other mobile platforms (J2ME, Android) – a huge plus
• Knowledge of the LAMP stack, including object-oriented PHP
